We first got into View-Master sets from Disneyland following an article in the National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) newsletter many years ago. The idea of being able to see Disneyland the way it looked when the park first opened - all in full color 3D images - was certainly intriguing. So we started to collect and enjoy them.
The first View-Master sets for Disneyland were issued in 1956, the year after the park opened. Disney had been working closely with Sawyer's for several years prior to this, and I've read that Disney purchased their Tru-Vue division in the early 1950's. Thanks to the use of Kodachrome, the images are still colorful and bright after over 50 years. We're pleased to offer this assortment of Disneyland Viewmaster packets for sale.
