As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This is a hand-painted limited edition cel that was sold at the Animation Gallery starting in the Disney/MGM Studios Theme Park in Walt Disney World in 1991. These souvenir cels were a big kit with collectors since they were relatively inexpensive for a cel of this quality, and they changed them every year.
It's a fine hand-painted cel of Mickey Mouse at an animator's table, just as you would see the artists during the tour of the Animation Gallery in the park during those early years. This third cel in the series of souvenir cels has a 9x11" cel opening in the original 12x15" mat/folder.
