Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This is a Disney collectible for the dyed-in-the-wool Roger Rabbit fan. It's an Anime' magazine from Japan with a short section on our favorite film that has a great picture of Roger Rabbit and Eddie Valliant (Bob Hoskins) on the cover. Like all Japanese magazines, this one's printed on nice glossy stock so the images really pop. It's amazing to see the Japanese perspective on an American pop culture classic like Roger Rabbit.
The magazine is about 150 pages overall, and 9x122". It has several pictures taken from the movie, but it's all written in Japanese so the text isn't much fun for most of us in the US. Still, it's fun to have and something you won't find on eBay every day. And we're selling it for lots less than it cost us!
