As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. In 1990, on the heels of a similar promotion for Mickey Mouse, Warner Bros. and Time Magazine issued a commemorative magazine that celebrated Bugs Bunny's 50th Anniversary of his premiere in the cartoon "A Wild Hare" directed by Tex Avery. The magazine included a 7x10 inch printed cel from the (then) new cartoon "Box Office Bunny" showing Bugs sitting in a movie theater, complete with a nice background. The magazine itself has all sorts of treats for fans of the Wascaly Wabbit, including interviews with Chuck Jones and Friz Freleng, the two men most associated with Bugs over the years. Real animation fans will also get a kick out of the dozens of birthday greetings for Bugs from famous cartoon and comic strip artists from Charles Shultz to Matt Groening. There are articles galore, including Leonard Maltin's picks of the 10 best Bugs Bunny cartoons, and Steven Spielberg introducing "Tiny Toons". Roughly 60 pages in all. Just a wonderful and very affordable animation collectible.
