Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Produced in 2003 by Robert Tieman, the manager of the Walt Disney Archives, this book chronicles the history of years of The Walt Disney Studios in the 1920's until Walt's death in 1966. It includes early hand-written notes by Walt, pull-out replicas of Disney memoribelia including a letter from Walt to Lillian, early Disneyland ride tickets, and more. It's all stuff you won't find anywhere else. It's a perfect book for the die-hard Disney fan who enjoys all of the little details of how these enormously talented men and women created the cartoons and theme parks we all love. The 60-minute CD includes commercials and selected interviews with Walt and his speeches. It comes in a hard sleeve/box with the CD in it's original sealed sleeve.
