Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. One of three premium pins from Long's Drugs Stores in California in a 1997 promotion with Nestle Candy. This is one of just two or three souvenirs I know of from the Disneyland Hercules Victory Parade, a parade that rivals The Lion King Celebration in its animated floats, exciting live performers, and the wonderful rock gospel music by famed composer Alan Menkin (a.k.a. the man who put the "glad" in "gladiator").
