Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

The Lion King Celebration parade made its debut in Disneyland in 1995, the year following the blockbuster film's theatrical release, and ran for several years thereafter. It was touted as the proverbial "giant leap" in Audio-Animatronic floats, combined with the sophisticated costuming and acrobatic choreography now associated with the Broadway play based on the same movie. The video shows you the entire parade, now long retired, as it was in Disneyland. We have a page on our website dedicated to this parade. Click here to see it. These tapes are long sold out, of course, and no longer available in the park in any format.
