Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

There has been an "Official Album" for Disneyland and Walt Disney World dating back to the 1980s. They were hot-selling souvenirs in the parks, of course, and have been a staple of Disney collectors' hoardes all along. The first one I owned was issued in 1991 and had a collection of music from the top attractions in the Magic Kingdom (Pirates, Haunted Mansion, Tiki Room, Splash Mountain) and several from EPCOT Center attractions that no longer exist, like Kitchen Kabaret.
This album is exclusively music from Disneyland and was released in 2000 for the park's 45th Anniversary. It includes 4 tracks not available on any other CD. The first two are songs from the "Woody's Round-up" show that had a brief run at The Golden Horseshoe following the release of "Toy Story 2". In addition, there's the soundtrack for "Disneyland Parade Of The Stars: 45 Years Of Magic Parade", and "Believe... There's Magic in the Stars" - 45th Anniversary Fireworks Spectacular. Exceedingly hard to find. New and sealed in the original package.
