As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This is a rare studio model cel of Prince Barin from the "Flash Gordon" television series from 1979, produced by Filmation. The animated television series was based on the classic comic strip by Alex Raymond, which became the movie serials featuring Flash Gordon, intrepid space hero in the late 1930's. Barin is an exiled ruler of the planet Mongo, who joins with Flash to battle the evil Emperor Ming the Merciless. The cel measures 5-½x8-½" in a 9x12" mat. Such model cels are rare, of course, and this one would be a very nice for the dyed-in-the-wool animation or sci-fi collector.
