Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

Author Jason Surrel has created a detailed history of Disney's Haunted Mansion. This paperbound book, which I can only describe as 'delicious', tells the story of how the Disney Imagineers created the original Disneyland attraction in New Orleans Square and how the Studio later turned the attraction's background legend into a movie starring Eddie Murphy (a movie that was surprisingly enjoyable if only because it could so easily have been truly terrible). You'll find lots of fabulous pictures here, from the concept art for the classic Disneyland attraction, through the movie production stills. 132 pages. Paperbound.
