Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This gorgeous figure of Roger and Jessica Rabbit is a hand painted, sculpted resin figurine created by artists Mark and Rita Dornan and was released in Disneyland in September 2001 in a limited edition series dubbed "Markrita" figures. This amazing piece stands 11" high by about 6" wide. It shows Roger gazing up lovingly at his darling wife Jessica, with both standing on a heart-shaped base that is decorated with colored hearts. There's a hidden compartment in the base that is revealed when you swing Roger over. Inside is a resin pin of Benny the Cab. It's one of the best and rarest Jessica Rabbit figures ever made.
This piece is from my personal collection. Sadly, I no longer have the box. Note: the Benny pin is damaged. There's a bit of his steering wheel that broke off.. I have the broken piece and while my attempt to repair it didn't hold, with proper ceramic glue it should be a simple fix. I can send you a picture of the pin on request. But, in any case, the Roger/Jessica figure itself is in very good condition.
