As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. The Monty Python television series taught Americans to love British comedy, and John Cleese was critical to the show's success. He was not only a brilliant comedy writer, his freakishly tall, rail-like appearance made audiences laugh just to look at him move. He was also the star, writer, and producer for the outrageously funny "Fawlty Towers" series. He is also well-known for his roles in two American movies, "A Fish Called Wanda" with Jamie Lee Curtis and "Silverado" with Kevin Costner and Kevin Kline.
We obtained this John Cleese autograph on a 5x7 publicity photo from an autograph dealer in 1994.
