Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

It's King Louie and Mowgli from the "I Wanna Be Like You" sequence from Disney's 1967 animated feature "The Jungle Book", based on the classic book by Rudyard Kipling. The film featured the voice talents of Phil Harris, Sebastian Cabot, and Sterling Holloway. King Louie's throne shown here reminds me of "Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom". Jungle Book was the last animated feature released under the supervision of Walt Disney, and it was many years before Disney had a movie that matched its quality.
The colorful artwork here is an inexpensive litho that would highlight any child's room. It measures 9x12" in a 12x16" double mat that's begging to be framed and hung where it will remind you of this classic Disney movie.
