As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Mary Wickes had a long career in Hollywood, starting in the late 1930's with Orson Wells' "Mercury Theater of the Air" on radio, and then in scores of movies. Disney audiences probably know her best for her role as the boisterous, towering nun in the "Sister Act" movies with Whoopi Goldberg. She was a natural choice for that part, having played a nun in several movies during her long career. Sadly, Ms. Wickes died in 1995, just prior to the release of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame".
This attractive Hunchback collectible has a 5x6 inch picture of Luverne (styled to resemble this wonderful actress) over a 3x5 inch page from an autograph book inscribed with Mary Wickes' signature, all covered with a clear sheet of mylar in an 11x14 inch acid-free mat.
