9-1/4 x 7-1/4 color lithograph featuring the cast of the 1947 feature "Melody Time", including Pecos Bill, Slue Foot Sue and Widowmaker, Johnny Appleseed, Little Toot, the bee in "Bumble Boogie", ice skaters in "Once Upon a Wintertime", Donald Duck, Jose Carioca, and the Aracuan Bird. Disney would send these cards in response to fan mail from children, a practice that dates to the 1930's and continued into the 1960's. While thousands of these were made over the years, relatively few survived the rigors of being hung on walls or stuck in dresser drawers of children across the USA, so these high quality prints are highly sought by Disney art collectors. The artwork is in a 9x12 inch mat and covered with a sheet of clear Mylar for protection. It is in excellent condition and ready for framing.
