Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? This is one of a series of die-cast wind-up cars from Japan featuring Mickey Mouse. They were made in the late 1980's through the early 1990's as best as we can tell from our contacts there. These cars have an unusual method of locomotion. You press a lever on the side of the car to make it go. As you can see, the details on this piece are awesome, right down to the rubber tires. And we're always attracted to collectibles with a pie-eyed Mickey.
