Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. He's not steel, but he's real. Yes, you just can't help but think of that icon of the 1960's TV commercials for Ideal's Mr. Machine, when you see this see-through wind-up Mickey. He walks pretty well on the rollers in his feet, but his arms no longer move. The good news is that this toy should be easily repaired. I would expect that a quick trip to the toy hospital should easily put him right. Mickey appears to be from the mid-1960's to early 1970's, and is certainly representative of toys from that era (a.k.a. my childhood). He's a great collectible Disney toy.
