As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Whenever I hear the name of this multi-talented performer, I can't help but start humming "Good Old Reliable Nathan" from "Guys and Dolls". It's only appropriate, since Nathan Lane played the role of Nathan Detroit in the Broadway revival in the 1990's for which he won a Tony Award. He also played Pseudolus in "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". He's since gone on to movies and television, starring in films like "The Producers" and "The Birdcage". Disney fans know him best as the voice of Timon the Meercat in the 1994 animated feature, "The Lion King", in which he was partnered with Ernie Sabella who was the voice of Pumbaa the Warthog. Mr. Sabella was also in "Guys and Dolls" with Lane on Broadway, playing Harry The Horse.
We obtained this Nathan Lane signed index card directly from Mr. Lane by mail in 1996.
