Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

Maxwell Emmett (Pat) Buttram, the lovable actor with the distinctive speaking voice is best known to Americans as the rascal Mr. Haney in the 1960's sitcom "Green Acres" with Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor. But he was also the voice of The Sherrif of Nottingham in Disney's 1973 feature "Robin Hood" as well as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham in the 1973 animated feature "Robin Hood" and Napoleon the dog in "The Aristocats". He was a popular actor in Western movies from the 1940s and 1950s, first with Roy Rogers and later with Gene Autry.
We obtained this Pat Buttram autograph by mail directly from the actor in 1993, not long before his passing in June, 1994 at age 78. It's distinctly blue in person, even though it shows as black in the image here.
