Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Peggy Lee was a popular jazz singer in the 1940's and 1950's, as well as being a talented composer. She's probably best known for her steamy hit "Fever". She won four Grammy Awards, and was also well-received in several movies. Disney fans know her best for her many contributions to the animated feature "Lady and the Tramp" for which she helped compose the songs - notably "He's a Tramp" and "The Siamese Cats Song" which she sang in the movie - and also provided the voice for four of the characters, including Darling, Peg and the two Siamese cats Si and Am. Sadly, Ms. Lee passed away in January, 2002. We obtained this autograph from her directly by mail in the early 1990's.
