Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Noted bandleader, singer, and actor, Phil Harris ecame famous for his song, "That's What I Like About The South" and as the bandleader on the long-running Jack Benny radio program from the late 1930's through the 1940's. He married the gorgeous actress Alice Faye in 1941, who gave up her flourishing career to have a family with Phil. They had their own radio show from 1946 through the early 1950's. Harris also went on to do many appearances in movies and on television. Disney fans know him best as the lovable bear Baloo in the 1967 animated feature "The Jungle Book". He was also the voice of Little John in Disney's "Robin Hood". We obtained this signed 8x10 inch photo from autograph dealer Tom Hardy in 1993, just two years before he passed away.
