This is the cover of Liberty magazine, dated March 2, 1940. It features a large, engaging image of Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Cleo the fish, and Figaro the cat. In those early days of the Studio, Disney's publicity department was always looking for ways to put their characters in the public eye, so they were happy to provide unique artwork to magazines who were writing about their films. This magazine was published to coincide with the movie's February 23, 1940 release date and the overall style is typical of the era.
This charming Pinocchio artwork measures approximately 8x11" in a 11x14" mat. Excellent condition and just waiting to be hung on your child's bedroom wall.
