Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. The Playground on the Great Highway near the Pacific Ocean shore in San Francisco was where people went to ride the Ferris wheel, rollercoaster, and other classic amusement park rides. It was originally called "Playland-At-The-Beach" (and later, simply "Playland") when it evolved from the confluence of concession stands that included the Fun House - a house of mirrors. This is a complete Playland ticket book from the late 1960's. It includes four pages of five 10-cent tickets. The back cover says "Good Through 1968". There is some slight foxing along the edges, but the book is otherwise in excellent condition. We're pleased to offer this nifty and collectible piece of San Francisco history for sale.
