Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This is an original production two cel setup from a Porky Pig cartoon titled "Kristopher Kolumbus Jr." from 1939 directed by Bob Clampett. Because so few pre-World War II Warner Bros. cels survived (cels in those days were typically re-used or discarded), this is a rare piece. There is some minor damage to the cel around the sign that says "3600" that appears as some light cloudiness which is not apparent at normal viewing distances, but is noticeable on close examination. The piece has a 7-½x9-½" cel opening in a 11x14" mat.
