Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

Sterling Holloway was simply unforgettable. He was a talented actor who used his unique physicality - being reedy thin with a high-pitched raspy voice - to his advantage. He started out on the stage in the 1920's in a traveling company, eventually landing in New York. He moved to Hollywood in 1926 where he began a film career, generally in comedies. The Walt Disney Studios often used his talents as a character voice, starting with the stork in 1941's "Dumbo" and continuing with characters like The Cheshire Cat in "Alice in Wonderland", and Kaa in "The Jungle Book". But Disney fans know him best as the voice of Winnie The Pooh, whose voice he provided from the 1966 featurette "Winnie The Pooh and the Honey Tree" through "The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh" in 1977. Sadly, Mr. Holloway passed away in 1992 at the age of 96. We purchased this Sterling Holloway autograph photo from Hanil Autographs in 1994. It's been trimmed to about 7x8 inches because we were originally planning to mat it with a picture, but... We've priced it accordingly.
