Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. This is the June/July 1993 edition of Storyboard Magazine that featured "Aladdin" which was released in November of the previous year. The cover photo shows Will Finn - the jockular lead animator of the evil Iago the Parrot. Will appeared at a National Fantasy Fan Club convention in January 1993 where he did a dead-on imitation of Gilbert Gottfried who voiced Iago the parrot. The hours of listening to the Aladdin soundtrack during animation apparently paid off in many ways for Will. To Will's right is a then up-and-coming/now much-acclaimed animator Tony Bancroft, who was on Finn's team on Iago. This magazine is autographed by both Will Finn and Tony Bancroft.
