Did you know that Walt Disney had a private apartment above the firehouse in Disneyland? As a prize at an Annual Passholder Event in 1995, we won dinner in that apartment which has been preserved since Walt's passing in 1966. Click on the picture below to read all about that night, and see all of the pictures we took.

Toy Story: The Sketchbook Series is a treasure chest of wonderful artwork from the incredibly talented artists and animators at Pixar. A limited edition of just 2500, this coffee-table-worthy archive relating the history of the art and artists who created Toy Story was published in September, 2000 by Applewood Books. It is a large 11.75 x 9.5", with 112 pages on think card stock paper and packed with sketches from Toy Story and Toy Story 2, and comes in a hard slipcover case. Each book comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity and each copy also includes a printed drawing of Buzz and Woody. Since Disney never published an "Art of" book for Toy Story, this book serves that role for fans, collectors, and those of us who love animation. You can find a good review of the book at Pixar Post.
A must-have Toy Story collectible, this fine book is from our personal collection and comes new in the original shrinkwrap, just as we received it from The Disney Catalog in the fall of 2000. I hate to part with it, but I also haven't done anything with it in nearly 20 years, so it's time to move on. I've tried to price it fairly. Check on Amazon and you'll see its around the same price that other sellers want for used copies and this copy is pristine - unopened. Most sellers offering new copies are asking over $400.00, so don't miss this bargain because I only have one!
