This photograph of Walt Disney was taken on November 15, 1965 at a press conference at the Cherry Plaza Hotel in Orlando, Florida where Walt Disney announced his plans to build Walt Disney World. Walt had a very ambitious plan for Disney World, especially EPCOT - his vision of the City of Tomorrow come to life - and here he presents that the first steps toward building that futuristic environment would soon become reality.
The 8x10 inch black and white photo is in excellent condition and has appeared countless times in newspapers and magazines around the world. Taken barely a year before Walt passed away, it's a Disney collectible that would be treasured by any fan of the man who started it all.
